Description from the seller
Offering:
1 beautiful
Green-glazed, black-decorated Yuhuchun vase
Description:
With a flared mouth, slender neck, sloping shoulders, full, drooping belly, and ring foot, this is a typical Yuhuchun vase shape. The entire body is covered in a green glaze, decorated with black enamel, commonly known as "green glaze with black decoration." Green glaze with black decoration is a type of underglaze porcelain decoration, where a layer of green glaze is applied over a white-glazed, black-decorated piece, and then fired at a low temperature. The neck is decorated with banana leaf patterns, the main decoration on the belly is a branch of flowers, and the lower belly near the foot is decorated with a band of honeysuckle patterns. The craftsmanship is in the style of the Cizhou kiln system of the Song and Yuan dynasties. However, the black decoration on this vase is stiff and restrained, the green glaze color is not right, and the foot is poorly finished, indicating it is a modern imitation of a Yuan or Ming dynasty Cizhou kiln piece.
Condition:
The condition is good, with no debris, no cracks, and no signs of repair, but there is some glaze loss. It was previously inspected using a strong UV filter. (Please see photos if the text is not clear enough.)
Specifications:
Height (cm): 25.00
Mouth Diameter (cm): 7.40
Bottom Diameter (cm): 6.80
Weight (g): 908.00
Shipping:
We will arrange for a professional courier company to handle the shipment, ensuring safe and reliable packaging, with a tracking system and shipping insurance. (Packaging box and base not sold separately)
Note:
Slight color differences may occur between the photos and the actual item. Thank you for your understanding.
