Mru.gru (*Julia Słomińska 1972 Szczecin/Polska) is a contemporary artist whose work is rooted in the tradition of the 20th century. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
The works of this artist are characterized by a personal way of looking at the heritage of the great masters, a meticulous eye for detail and message. A distinctive feature of her art is keen observation of the world, events, and contexts. The author does not close off the reality depicted in the paintings, ensuring that the viewer fills in their own story. Her fascination with old works of art shapes in the artist an exceptionally meticulous approach to technique and the quality of the work.
Acrylic on cotton canvas (unframed). Size 95/95.
