Yaseneva Sveta - Morning light by the window

In this piece, I sought to capture an atmosphere of pure serenity and natural grace. The central figure, bathed in soft sunlight, is harmoniously positioned between the intimate interior and the vast southern landscape visible through the window.

Working with oils, I combined expressive, textured brushwork on the background wall with delicate, smooth transitions to depict the skin. The rich blue of the window frame provides a deep contrast to the warm tones of the figure, while the view of sun-drenched gardens and distant mountains lends a sense of airiness and freedom to the composition. To me, this painting is a celebration of light, youth, and that fleeting harmony found in the morning hours.
