Rare - Lot of 2 enameled advertising plaques of Japanese robots, Tin toys.
These two magnificent plaques come from an old Japanese toy store (Osaka region).
In 1940, a Japanese company marketed the first Tin Toy, the Liliput model. This 16 cm robot, made from recycled tinplate, looked like an automaton and captured the imaginations of children of the era.
Dimensions of each plaque: H20 x L11 cm
Very good overall condition, despite signs of wear; see photo for more details.
