Steinheil München E-Cassarit 2.8/50mm with M39 screw mount, physical condition good and tested and working.
Description from the seller
An attractive vintage Steinheil München E-Cassarit 50mm f/2.8 lens is offered, serial number 1804277.
This is the silver-colored aluminum version of the E-Cassarit, a compact German standard lens from the 1950s/60s. The lens features a fine classic construction with a metal body, red aperture markings, and a distinctive flat “pancake”-like design.
The lens is equipped with M39 threads. Note: this is presumably the M39 SLR/Zenit-like variant and not Leica Thread Mount!
Focusing and aperture ring move smoothly. The glass looks usable in the photo, with normal signs fitting its age. The housing shows clear cosmetic wear, wear and small scratches, which are clearly visible in the photos.
An attractive item for collectors of German lenses, Steinheil enthusiasts, or users of vintage optics.
Sold as shown.
Condition
Used, with visible cosmetic wear. Mechanically smoothly operating. Glass visually in normal vintage condition.
