Hewlett-Packard 412A DC vacuum tube voltmeter from 1954, weighing 5.6 kg, in good physical condition and tested and functional, capable of measuring DC voltage, current in milliamperes and resistance, with AC operation (115/230 V) and an extra object included as described.
Description from the seller
HP 412A DC Vacuum Tube Voltmeter (VTVM). This is a classic analog measuring instrument from Hewlett-Packard, designed for measuring direct current (DC), current (milliamperes) and resistance (ohms).
Key Features:
Functions:
The device can be used as a voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter
Technology:
It uses vacuum tubes and a "photoconductive chopper" technology, which at the time provided a very stable DC amplification without the wear-prone parts of mechanical choppers.
Range:
The instrument has a large analog dial with multiple scales and a front-panel rotary switch to set the measurement range.
Power:
The device runs on alternating current (AC) and often has a rear switch for 115V or 230V.
Cables in the photo are included.
Fast and careful shipping!!
