Vintage Art Deco Wooden Mantel Clock - Mid-20th Century - For Restoration
A classic mid-century wooden mantel clock (approx. 1940s-1950s), featuring an elegant arched "hat" shaped case. This is a time-only model (single winding arbor), perfect for collectors or watchmaking enthusiasts looking for a restoration project.
* **Mechanical:** The clock is currently NON-WORKING. The pendulum is detached (but included), and the movement shows signs of oxidation and dust. It requires a professional cleaning, oiling, and timing adjustment.
* **Case:** The wooden case (likely oak or walnut veneer) is structurally sound but shows visible signs of age. There is lacquer peeling and surface scratches, particularly around the base and lower dial area.
* **Dial/Glass:** The brass-tone dial is in fair condition with some patina. The convex protective glass and brass bezel are intact.
