Armand Meffre (1929–2009) French actor and painter.
Iconic performer of theatre and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers, alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous and profoundly human body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a deeply humane gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, each canvas tells a story and moves with its authenticity.
A very talented artist with significant results in public sales. Participates in major international art fairs in the United States, China and Europe.
