Pair of wall sconces attributed to Veca – aqua blue molded crystal and smoked glass – Italy, 1970s

Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1970s, attributed to Veca, featuring a refined geometric modernist/postmodern design.

The lamps are made with thick slabs of molded and beveled crystal paired with elements in gray smoked glass and a satin-finished metal frame. The central opal diffuser creates a soft and dramatic light.

The design clearly recalls the high-end Italian production of the period, with an architectural composition that is highly decorative and elegant.

Of particular quality is the main crystal, about 2 cm thick, a detail that gives notable aesthetic presence and substantial build quality. Each sconce weighs about 2 kg.

General condition very good for the age.
They show some small chips on the crystal corners, barely visible and non-invasive once installed (documented in the photographs). Normal slight signs of age and use on the metal frame.
