Description from the seller

Coming from a family dining set, two collectible, hallmarked items by the famous silversmith Lino Sabbatini (1925-2016). Sabbatini was a prominent figure of Italian modernism; many of his works are exhibited in prestigious museums such as MoMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Sabbatini also collaborated with the historic French house Christofle (of which he was artistic director from 1956 to 1963) before founding his own silverware line in Bregnano.
