A highly sought-after vintage Leica lens, originally introduced in 1958 and widely known among collectors as the legendary “8-element Summicron.” Manufactured in Germany and featuring the original Leica L39 screw mount, this lens is celebrated for its rich tonal rendering, beautiful three-dimensional character, and classic Leica image quality. Compared with later versions, the 8-element design is especially prized for its unique rendering style and rarity. Original L-mount examples are significantly less common and remain highly collectible among Leica enthusiasts worldwide. Accessories: Front cap, rear cap Condition: Shows exterior scuffs and scratches. Overhauled in October 2025. Slight haze remains in part of the optics.
