Champagne bucket with insert for wine bottle, in silvered metal, manufactured in Germany by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) at the beginning of the 20th century.
This piece features an elegant Art Nouveau decor, known as Jugendstil, characteristic of German creations from that era. It is adorned with a finely chased frieze composed of chestnut leaves and fruits, a motif also carried on the handles, bringing refinement and harmony to the whole.
