The Edixa Reflex, produced by Wirgin in Wiesbaden, West Germany, during the 1950s and 1960s, is a testament to the versatile engineering of the post-war era. These cameras were highly innovative for their time, featuring a modular system with interchangeable viewfinders and lenses that allowed them to compete with the likes of Exakta. This particular model, characterized by its solid chrome construction and distinctive top-mounted dials, represents a classic era of West German camera manufacturing, prized by collectors for its robust mechanical feel and historical significance.
