An antique anonymous-made table clock, with painted decoration on the front, presumably restored/repainted, and a visible mechanism on the sides through glass, a double bell strike for hours and half-hours.
Period of construction presumably between the late 18th and early 19th century.
Decorated wooden case, the curved upper part is made from a carved block of wood, not heat-bent.
Working mechanism, requires servicing for the chiming system.
