The Item:
Superb console table (or plant stand) in Transition / Louis XV style, dating from the early 20th century (circa 1900-1910). This accent piece rests on three curved legs linked by a low, richly carved stretcher with openwork organic motifs.
The Top:
The surface is adorned with a magnificent Breccia marble top in warm tones (ochre, white and Siena earth), perfectly inset into a circular wooden moulding. The marble is in excellent condition.
Restoration & Condition:
This piece has been fully restored. The wooden frame has been consolidated and painted with a matte finish in the color "Terre d'Ombre", giving it a sober and contemporary look while highlighting its classic lines. The assembly beneath the top (see photos) confirms antique, authentic craftsmanship.
