Description from the seller
Generalities:
This magnificent Maserati 3200 GT, nicknamed the legendary "Boomerang", is an elegant Italian with a unique character that blends luxury, performance and exclusivity. Delivered new in Belgium in 2000, the vehicle has had only two owners. The first kept it from 2000 to 2003, when the current owner repurchased it. The latter, a non-smoker and particularly meticulous, has carefully maintained and preserved the car throughout its life for 23 years. Today it displays a low certified mileage of just 87,142 km. The vehicle has always been stored in a closed garage and has been regularly used, mainly on weekends, without interruption.
Bodywork and Paint:
The car today is completely original and in an exceptional concours condition. The bodywork has never been damaged or welded, and it shows no dents, scratches or rust. The original paint has retained a very fine shine, with only minor imperfections such as discreet surface marks on the lower parts of the bumpers. The seals have remained supple and perfectly watertight, and the glass shows no impact marks. The chrome is bright and unpitted. On the running gear side, the wheels are pristine with no signs of rubbing, fitted with brand-new Pirelli P0 tires installed in 2025 that have covered only 1,500 km. Finally, the front and rear light clusters are watertight and fully functional.
Technical:
Under the hood lies the prestigious 3.2-liter V8 Biturbo engine delivering 370 horsepower, which runs like a clock and revs up smoothly across all speeds, all accompanied by an exceptional sound. The turbos engage perfectly and there is no oil or coolant loss to report, neither from the engine nor the gearbox. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a very smooth 6-speed manual gearbox, paired with an efficient original clutch. This mechanical configuration is highly sought after by driving purists today. The car was tested on an authorized computer on April 13, 2026 and shows no error codes whatsoever.
The maintenance history is rigorous. The latest full service was done in November 2024 at 85,000 km, including replacement of the timing belt, serpentine belt, filters, lambda sensor, oil and crankshaft sensor. For reference, the belt had already been replaced previously in 2007 at Ferrari Francorchamps. The electronically controlled suspension is in perfect working order, and the four dampers’ motors are defect-free. Moreover, the master cylinder and the front and rear brake pads were replaced at 81,000 km, while the spark plugs were changed at 82,000 km. No expense or intervention is expected before taking to the road.
Interior:
The cabin is in impeccable condition, very clean and completely original, with no missing or replacement parts. The black leather upholstery is beautifully preserved, both up front and in the rear. The front seats are heated and equipped with memory-electric controls in perfect working order. The Alcantara headliner is absolutely perfect. The extended leather, door trim, dashboard and rear window show no defects. The carpets and protective mats are also pristine. All comfort functions on the dashboard are operational, including automatic climate control, power windows, radio, alarm and all gauges.
Documents:
This vehicle has a clean and complete administrative history. The service booklet is fully documented with official stamps from Ferrari Francorchamps Brussels. The car has exclusively been in the hands of recognized Maserati specialists, as shown by all invoices for interventions carried out between 2003 and 2025. The European Certificate of Conformity (COC) is present. The last periodic technical inspection was performed on February 26, 2025 and is valid until November 28, 2025, fully validated without any defects. For the sale, the vehicle will be delivered with its sale technical inspection and its registration application ready for the future owner.
Collection:
The vehicle is currently viewable in Waterloo, Belgium. It is in this exclusive location that the final delivery of the car will take place. The buyer is invited to contact the seller directly to set and organize the transport and collection arrangements, these procedures and the associated costs remaining the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Other Information:
The Maserati 3200 GT is today an iconic model of the Italian brand, instantly recognizable and praised for its timeless design, noble engine and incomparable sound. Well-maintained examples with a clean history, low mileage and a manual gearbox have become extremely rare on the classic car market. This configuration makes it a true car for enthusiasts, healthy, road-ready and set to become a future essential collector.
