Plateelbakkerij Zenith Gouda – hand-painted Delft blue decorative plate – ca. 1960/1970
Beautiful hand-painted decorative plate from the Dutch Plateelbakkerij Zenith in Gouda, executed in a classic Delft blue decor. The plate features rich floral decoration with a central flower basket, surrounded by graceful flower and leaf motifs in varying shades of blue. The fluted edge gives the piece an elegant appearance.
On the back, marked with the Zenith crown mark, decor number “989” and “Delft BL. Made in Holland”. The plate dates from circa 1960/1970 and is a fine example of Dutch faience from the post-war period.
Both decorative and collectible; ideal for enthusiasts of Delft blue, Gouda faience, or vintage Dutch ceramics.
