This lot centers on the original packaging of LEGO set 8040, released in 1984 as part of the early Technic line.
The box is in very good vintage condition and, crucially, retains its internal plastic frame and all original inserts. A combination that is genuinely uncommon for sets now over 40 years old.
The instruction manual is also included and in good condition. Please note: this is not a complete set. A portion of the included bricks can be matched to set 8040, but the bulk of the contents consists of two bags of loose LEGO Technic parts from the 1980s.
