Description from the seller

Very beautiful French tin-glazed faience plate from the 18th century attributed to the Moustiers manufacture around 1750.

Central heraldic decoration representing a shield with a cross, surrounded by the symbols of the four Evangelists (angel, lion, bull, eagle) topped by a winged angel.

Inscription on a phylactery as "DANT AGNO GLORIAM" (they give glory to the lamb)

Plate in good condition and quite rare. Only a small chip on the underside should be noted. A little white enamel has chipped off.
