Antique 19th‑century cherrywood cabinet dating to 1850–1900, made of cherry wood, with dimensions 35.5 × 23.5 × 11 cm.
Description from the seller
Miniature cherrywood sideboard from the 19th century – Dollhouse cabinet / miniature chest
Fascinating 19th-century miniature sideboard made of cherry wood, of great taste and craftsmanship. An object today increasingly difficult to find in these-preservation conditions, capable of combining decorative charm, authenticity and a strong stage presence despite its small size.
The structure features sober and elegant lines, with a double stacked body and original doors enhanced by refined decorative metal knobs.
Splendid the natural grain of the cherry, warm and luminous, highlighted by a beautiful patina of time that gives character and authenticity to the whole.
Internally it preserves the original shelves and all the ancient artisanal construction. The doors are functional and complete with the original locking systems, including the internal metal latch visible in the photo, a rare detail much appreciated in objects of this kind. The piece has been professionally treated with anti-termite; only a few small holes from old woodworm now inactive are evident, absolutely normal for furniture of this age and that do not compromise stability, functionality or overall aesthetic harmony.
Extremely decorative and sought-after object, perfect for country chic environments, elegant rustic homes, countryside houses, atmospherically styled kitchens or collections dedicated to miniature furniture and the folk arts of the 19th century.
Dimensions: height 35.5 cm x width 23.5 cm x depth 11 cm.
The photos are an integral part of the description. Guaranteed careful packaging entrusted to sector professionals.
