Two nude bathers in a diptych by Denis Pascal dit "Roy" (France), 2025, acrylic paintings on panels in a Neo-impressionist style, each signed in the panel, with panel sizes 25.5 cm × 17 cm and 18 cm × 7 cm (thicknesses 1.5 cm and 1 cm).
Description from the seller
Here are two acrylics on panels by Pascal DENIS, known as "ROY", a recognized painter from Paris, featuring Marine scenes and Nudes. In perfect condition, each signed on the panel, from a private collection (direct provenance from the painter).
Exhibited in numerous galleries. In 1984 at the centenary of the Salon des Independents in Paris. Currently at the Art Triumph Gallery in Tokyo. Multiple solo and group exhibitions in major French and European cities.
From his paintings comes an astonishing impression of calm, serenity. But behind this appearance, there are pulsions and inner fermentations stamped by the wild nature.
These two nudes are a vibrant homage to feminine natural beauty. The painter combines his talent as a Breton seascape painter with his art of portraying feminine sensuality.
The larger one (Size 25.50 cm x 1.50 cm x 17 cm) places the scene in Audierne Bay and its dunes where the bather dries her body with a blue towel in a sunny atmosphere.
The second (Size 18 cm x 1 cm x 7 cm) is set opposite the port lighthouse where the bather dries herself on the rocks at sunset.
A superb "diptych" to be composed according to one’s own sensibility.
The two Certificates of Authenticity will be included with the fast, careful, and tracked shipment.
