Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A modular white ABS Space Age design Italian trolley by Giovanni Pelis for Neolt Polistile, dating to 1970–1980, with dimensions H 78 cm x W 40 cm x D 43 cm, in good used condition with minor age marks.
Description from the seller
Iconic modular container cart in authentic Italian Space Age style from the 1970s, made in white ABS polystyrene with a configurable structure and soft lines typical of the era’s futuristic design. The piece features three upper drawers and practical lower open compartments, combining functionality with a strong aesthetic impact in a perfect balance between minimalism and avant-garde.
The aesthetics clearly recall the great experiments of Italian radical design in the 1970s, with influences attributable to Joe Colombo’s productions and the innovative modular systems disseminated in those years by companies specializing in plastic processing and thermoformed materials. The geometric structure, lightened by rounded corners and side openings, gives the whole a highly contemporary character that remains current today.
Thanks to the integrated wheels, the cart can be easily moved and used as a bar unit, a study storage piece, a modernist nightstand, or a decorative element for living spaces, studios, or retro-futuristic settings. The glossy white finish and the minimal surfaces make it perfect for modernist interiors, Space Age, mid-century, or minimalist contexts.
A bold collectible item, rare to find in this condition and with this complete configuration.
Overall condition: very good and consistent with age and use, with slight signs of wear compatible with the era. Inevitable yellowing is entirely natural for this type of material.
Dimensions:
Height: 78 cm
Width: 40 cm
Depth: 43 cm
Adequate packaging and trackable shipping throughout Europe.
