Sennheiser - HD 820 / HDVA 600 Headphone - Multiple models

I’m selling a Sennheiser headphone that’s been very lightly used, together with its amplifier.

The Sennheiser HD800 series is the pinnacle of headphone listening, combining natural sound with breadth and dynamics. The HD820 version is the (semi)closed-back model, offering better isolation from the outside world with higher-quality earpads, while giving deeper bass extension, but with a trade-off in soundstage.

I’m selling these headphones, lightly used, in almost-new condition (with photos that try to best show any cosmetic defect that could be detected), with the user manual unopened, a USB key, and two original cables, in perfect condition in their original packaging. I’m also including a pair of original earpads, new, if you absolutely want to avoid any contamination.

I’m pairing the headphones with the Sennheiser amplifier intended for high-impedance headphones in the 800 series. It’s the perfect companion, and it will be hard to find a better amplifier for less than several thousand euros… This is the original version, without an integrated DAC. The later versions haven’t changed much in the analog section (at least as far as my ears can tell), but avoid spending €2,500 to gain a DAC (which may be imperfect) integrated. Note that I’m including an adapter to make use of the amp’s XLR output, with the 4.4 mm cable.

Having tried many audiophile headphones, I can assure you that the 800 series is top of the market, and online reviews will confirm it.

This gear is valued at over €3,000 when new. A good deal for a refurbished version!}
