A rare and beautiful little artwork by the internationally renowned artist Gressie, oil on panel depicting one of his 'painted stories' with animals and fruit: a kingfisher sittIng proudly next to an antique porcelain bowl with life like strawberries and raspberries.

This artwork was purchased by the last owner at the Art in Natura expo at Kasteel van Schoten in 2019 (A 2000 plus euro purchase).

It sits in it's own wooden polychrome and partly silvered frame and it's in good condition. Tiny superficial wear and one or two lines.
Gressie's work is sought after and quite rare to find outside of galleries or his own atelier.
