Large and very finely worked lanceolate hand-axe with a beautiful color and patina.
Shiny desert patina.
Cortex preserved at the base for a better grip. Old crack (with patina) at the edge, otherwise a very elegant and fine example from the classic Acheulean. Made by the Alanthropus Mauritanicus, a form of H. Erectus in these regions.
No restorations
Dimensions: 179 x 91 mm
Each sold lot will be accompanied by an authenticity certificate.
