Prussian silver commemorative 3 Mark coin minted in 1913 to celebrate the centennial of Napoleon’s defeat in the Wars of Liberation. The obverse features an aggressive German Imperial eagle gripping a serpent, a symbol of victory, in a heraldic style with strong symbolic meaning. The reverse shows a detailed scene with the king on horseback surrounded by military and civilian figures, in a narrative composition of great historical and artistic richness. The specimen retains good overall shine with defined reliefs. It maintains an attractive visual presence and represents an important testimony of German nationalism prior to World War I.
