Description from the seller
Vintage set of 3 nesting tables / side tables – Netherlands, 1950s-1960s
Wonderful vintage set of three elegant nesting tables from the period 1950-1960, made in the Netherlands. These stylish little tables embody the warm, minimalist atmosphere of Mid-Century Modern design and combine functionality with a timeless look.
The tops are finished in teak veneer with a warm honey-brown color and a beautiful lively grain. The slender square black metal legs give the set a light and refined character. A striking detail is that the legs subtly extend beyond the edges of the tops, creating a playful and architectural line. At the bottom, the legs are equipped with protective feet.
Thanks to the nested design, the tables can be slid compactly under one another, but can also be used separately. Ideal as side tables beside a sofa or armchair, as plant tables, coffee tables, or decorative tables for books, lighting, or accessories. This set fits perfectly within a Mid-Century, Scandinavian, vintage, or modern interior and serves as a stylish focal point in living rooms, reading nooks, or bedrooms.
The tops show signs of wear appropriate to age and use, which emphasizes the authentic vintage character of the set.
