Vintage porcelain lidded canister "Baby with Pacifier" – Germany – approx. 1950
A striking, two-piece porcelain canister in the shape of a baby head with a light-blue cap and a yellow pacifier. The piece is elaborately designed and features fine polychrome painting of the facial features. The lid (the cap) fits seamlessly to the base. A classic example of German decorative porcelain production from the postwar era. Marked on the bottom with a gold crown within a laurel wreath.
