Mantel clock - Bronze - 1910-1920 - Louis XV style pendulum clock

Large French Louis XV / Rococo-style mantel clock in gilded bronze, richly decorated with numerous ornaments and an enamel dial with Roman numerals.

This clock operates mechanically with manual winding and is sold with its key as well as its pendulum. The mechanism is in working order and the mechanical bell striking is also active, although a regulation or maintenance may be advisable for perfectly regular operation.

The piece presents a very impressive decorative presence thanks to its imposing size and its elegant French Baroque-style bronze work. The movement bears the reference “4079 RT.”
