Plastic alarm clock from the Hamtaro series by Ritsuko Kawai, published by Shogakukan in Japan in 1998, in very good condition with dimensions 22 × 17 × 19 cm.
Description from the seller
Here is a very limited edition of Seiko, the alarm clock of "HAMTARO", the famous manga created by Ristoko Kawai, created in 1997 and published in Japan by the publisher Shōgakukan; it is the cute little hamster of Laura Haruna.
Talking alarm clock released around the early 2000s in small quantities; today only a few copies remain in Japan, unavailable in Europe.
Hamtaro's voice will wake you up.
Turn on the alarm clock "awasechi"
At wake-up time "Ham Ha ... Ham Ha"
Turn off the alarm clock "see you later"
In good preservation condition, plastic body, fully functional, alarm on/off, time set.
No cracks or missing parts.
Some light signs of wear, a slight discoloration, a bit yellowed on the front face, the clock’s second hand is slightly bent; operates with three AA batteries for the alarm functions placed underneath (not supplied).
The battery for the alarm is inside directly; you must open the figure in two to access the mechanism (I have installed a fresh battery to avoid this action for you, so it will be present for shipping).
The last photo is an AI translation of the original inscriptions which are in Japanese.
A superb piece for collectors.
