Biography: Alfredo Candela

A. CANDELA Alfredo Candela was born in Alcoy (Alicante), in 1959. He attended the early studies of painting at the School of Fine Arts of Alcoy, then moved to Valencia. It was here that he developed a preference for marine subjects, one of his great specialties. He masters color in both cool tones and the warmer quality that we can observe in his bright and luminous seascapes, not forgetting floral themes and landscapes. Despite his age, he is still studying at the University of Valencia trying to improve his artistic skills. For these reasons, he is experimenting with new trends, seeking the modern and young market. Although he has not spent much on solo exhibitions, he has frequently collaborated in various group exhibitions. In his early steps as an artist, he held exhibitions in Cultural Centers, Banks and official Institutions, with his first solo show in 1981. Despite having already participated in more than 100 exhibitions."}} {
