Description from the seller
Premium - Celestine Geode
An essential piece for your interior decor
Celestine comes from the Latin term “coelestis” which means “heavenly.” More commonly it can be translated as “sky blue.” In 1789, shortly after its discovery, the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner named this crystal thus, its reflections resembling a sky bathed in light.
Its color, of great softness, has earned it the name “Stone of the Angels.” According to legend, it was born from the pure and hypnotic song of angels. It is also associated with the Pleiades constellation, considered humanity’s spiritual cradle.
Numerous synonyms are attached to it, including celestite, cliftonite, dioxynite, sicilianite, or strontianite sulfate.
