Description from the seller

Bonbonnière / sugar bowl in Limoges porcelain from the early 20th century, paired with its display plate in a decorative style inspired by the 18th century. Hand-painted floral decoration on a turquoise blue background set with gilt and slightly relief. The bottom of the bowl shows a brown-gold painted hallmark, while the underside of the plate bears the Limoges factory mark, France. The turquoise and gold decor, and the overall shape recall the Louis XVI / Napoleon III decorative arts production. The gilding is worn in places, notably along the edges; but the raised relief feel remains noticeable. Moreover, the handles and the lid show wear from regular use, a sign of the item's age.
