This wonderful kitchen tin for marinated herring was produced at the Villeroy & Boch manufactory between 1880 and 1900. 120 years ago, such a tin could be found in every kitchen in Northern Germany. Made in Germany. One of the most beautiful herring tins I have ever seen.
