Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 1,7/55mm | Camera lens

Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 50mm F1.7 Hello from Japan! We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world. The Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 50mm F1.7 was introduced in April 1973 as a standard "nifty fifty" for Minolta's SR-mount SLR system, and was supplied as a kit lens with many mid-level Minolta bodies of that era such as the SR-T 101, SR-T 102 and XE-7. The "PF" suffix follows Minolta's element/group coding: P = 5 groups, F = 6 elements, indicating its 6-element / 5-group double-Gauss optical design. The all-metal barrel and the well-known waffle-pattern rubber focus grip give the lens a satisfying mechanical feel, while the optics deliver the characteristic "Minolta color" — pleasant rendering, good sharpness from f/2.8 onwards, smooth bokeh, and very good flare resistance for its era. Thanks to the popularity of the Minolta SR / MC / MD mount, simple "dumb" adapters to virtually every mirrorless system (Sony E, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z, Canon RF, Leica L) are readily and inexpensively available, making this lens a great manual-focus option for both film and digital shooters. IMPORTANT — Please read carefully: There is a dent on the front filter rim. The dent is purely cosmetic but may prevent some screw-in 55mm filters from threading on smoothly. There is also slight haze on the rear element, which may cause a mild loss of contrast or veiling flare under strong backlit conditions. Some users enjoy this as part of the lens's vintage character, but if you require flawless optics please refrain from bidding. Condition: USED — Good Pre-owned with distinct signs of use and minor optical flaws. Mechanically sound and fully functional. Serial Number Please check the photo. Appearance There is a dent on the front filter rim. Otherwise the barrel shows normal signs of use. Please check the photos for details. Optical Condition Haze: Slight (on the rear element) Fungus: No Scratch: No Balsam separation: No Dust: Tiny (does not affect shooting) Note: Haze may have a mild effect on images under strong backlit conditions. Functional Helicoid (focus ring): Smooth Aperture blades: Clean, move properly, no oil Aperture ring: Clicks correctly at all stops Known Issues Dent on the front filter rim — cosmetic, but may interfere with some 55mm screw-in filters. Slight haze on the rear element — may reduce contrast in strong backlight. Mount Minolta SR mount (also known as MC / MD mount). Compatible with all Minolta manual-focus SLR bodies (SR, SR-T, X, XE, XD, XG, X-700 series, etc.). Easily adaptable to mirrorless cameras (Sony E, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z, Canon RF, Leica L) using a widely available SR-to-mirrorless adapter.
