Description from the seller
A classic Konica S rangefinder camera from the 1960s, equipped with the highly regarded Konishiroku Hexanon 48mm f/2 lens and Copal-SV shutter. This vintage Japanese camera has been tested and remains mechanically functional, with smooth film advance and operational shutter speeds. The rangefinder focusing mechanism is working and the viewfinder remains usable.
The lens appears clean overall without significant fungus or haze, making this an attractive camera for collectors and analog photography enthusiasts alike. Please note that the exposure meter is non-functional and the light seals have deteriorated due to age. The camera is therefore offered as a vintage collectible and usable classic camera requiring minor maintenance if intended for regular shooting.
The lot also includes a leather carrying case, lens hood, hood case, and accessories as shown in the photographs.
Condition
Good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use.
The shutter fires correctly at all speeds and the film advance operates smoothly.
The rangefinder double image is visible and linked to focusing.
The lens is generally clear with no major haze or fungus visible, though there is slight oil residue on the aperture blades.
The built-in light meter is not functioning.
Light seals are deteriorated and may require replacement for practical use.
Leather case shows age-related wear and slight peeling.
Please carefully review all photographs.

Original leather case
KINIHOOD lens hood with case

Filter ring
