Tea kettle - Ceramic

This is a porcelain teapot produced in China during the 1920s and 1930s. It was hand-painted by Mr. Gao Hengsheng, one of the renowned Chinese porcelain painters among the Eight Friends of Zhushan. In the painting, a gentleman and a child are fishing by the river, and on one side are Chinese poems. The inscription on the bottom reads (Made in an official kiln). The body of the teapot is well maintained, without any bumps or cracks. There are signs of use.
