Description from the seller
José Cabrera
Lazos de Fuego, 2026
Oil on canvas, 30 × 50 cm
Signed and dated (lower left)
A work of great dynamism and spectacular visual force. Two cowboys gallop at full speed against a sky ablaze in intense golds and oranges, whipping their lassos in the air. The composition captures the movement and energy of the West with mastery, turning the scene into an authentic homage to the cowboy tradition and to the romance of the American landscape.
José Cabrera demonstrates here an excellent handling of crepuscular light and the contrast between the dark silhouettes of the riders and the incandescent sky. The loose and expressive brushwork conveys the speed of the horses and the tension of the moment, while the warm palette envelops the entire scene in an epic and cinematic atmosphere.
This piece is part of the artist’s western series, where he has managed to consolidate a personal style that blends narrative realism with great emotional and decorative impact. “Lazos de Fuego” is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and ambitious works in this line, ideal for collectors of equestrian art, contemporary western art, or for those seeking a large-format piece with imposing presence.
Perfect for living rooms, offices or spaces that require character, movement and light.
