Bell & Howell TDC Vivid stereo camera in very good cosmetic condition and tested to be working, using 35 mm film with a 24x23 mm stereo image format and Rodenstock Tridar 35 mm f/3.5 lenses.

Description: Beautiful, in very good condition, TDC Stereo Vivid 35mm stereo camera, produced in 1954 by the Three Dimension Company (a subsidiary of Bell & Howell) in Chicago, IL, USA, circa 1954-1960. This is an excellent opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts of 3D photography to acquire one of the most advanced American stereocameras of the 1950s. The Stereo Vivid is known for its rugged metal housing, excellent lenses and superior build quality compared with its contemporaries.
Features:
• Lenses: Dual, coated Rodenstock Tridar 35mm f/3.5 lenses (matched pair); lenses clear and free from haze, fungus and separation.
• Shutter: Metal leaf shutter with speeds B, 1/10 - 1/100 second; all shutter speeds functional
• Aperture: smoothly adjustable from 3.5 to 16
• Rangefinder: Coupled rangefinder combined in one eyepiece, very clear with a well-visible overlapped image
• Recording format: 24x23 mm stereo pairs on standard 35mm film (Realist format)
Extras:
Built-in "Expo Sure" exposure calculator on the top, built-in level, focus knob on the right side.
Condition:
The camera looks cosmetically very good, with minimal signs of use. Leather case is in nearly new condition.
