Crate - Wood - Advertising fund

Authentic antique wooden advertising crate for chicory “La Sans Rivale,” from A. Hauquet house in Paris.
It is decorated with a large polychrome motif: prize medals (London, Amiens 1867, etc.), seated female figures on either side, and the inscriptions “CHICOREE EXTRA – AROME – CONCENTRÉ – PARIS – LA SANS RIVALE – A. HAUQUET.”
Typical of late 19th / early 20th century shop crates, today highly sought after for kitchen, loft, or vintage shop decor.
The wood shows a beautiful patina of use, with the warm color of old wood and the decoration still clearly legible. Bare interior, ideal for use as storage (bottles, books, plants, etc.) or simply as a decorative element.
Signs of use, scratches, small marks and possible small wood chips, consistent with age.
Overall structure solid and functional.
