An original Chinese Yixing stoneware teapot dating to the late Qing dynasty (c. 1870–1911), cylindrical in form with enamel decoration of blooming plum branches and a woven bamboo handle, height 13.5 cm.

This is a Chinese Yixing teapot made of zisha clay (purple sand), dating from the late 19th century, during the Qing dynasty.
The teapot has a cylindrical shape and is made from dark brown zisha clay (purple sand), decorated with vibrant enamel depictions of blooming plum branches.
The teapot is fitted with a woven bamboo handle, a design choice that provides heat insulation and creates a rustic aesthetic contrast with the refined ceramic form.
Condition:
In good condition, the teapot has three small chips: one on the edge of the lid, one on the upper rim, and one on the bottom. No other damage.
Dimensions:
13.5 cm tall.
