Beautiful candlestick in gilded bronze (sand-cast brass) model called "Heemskerk", origin Netherlands circa 1800
Fairly heavy chandelier, whose shaft is baluster-shaped, with an intermediate cup, a solid upper bonnet not pierced, and a circular domed and stepped base. Although this type of candlesticks has been made since the 16th century, and our model is later, the pattern remains rare to find.
Very good condition and attractive patina. Minimal signs of use, normal for its age.
Dimensions: Height 19.5 cm x Base diameter 10.2 cm. Weight: 792.5 g (1.75 pounds).

Chandelier assez lourd, dont le fût est de forme balustre, avec une coupelle intermédiaire, un haut binet non percé, et une base circulaire en dôme et à gradins. Bien que ce type de bougeoirs ce soit fabriqué dès le 16ème siècle, et que notre modèle est plus tardif, le modèle reste rare à trouver. Très bel état et belle patine. Minimes traces d'usage, normal pour son âge.
Dimensions : Hauteur 19,5 cm x Diamètre de la base 10,2 cm cm. Poids : 792,5 gr (1,75 Livres).
