In 1966 Agfa released an entire series of top cameras for the Agfa Rapid system. And as is typical with all Agfa Optima cameras, comfort of use was at the forefront of this camera line as well. Aperture ring set to "A", steadily depress the shutter and when the viewfinder window shows green, shoot. Done. As was common at that time, the exposure automation of the camera works thanks to the selenium field without batteries. The camera received an elegant, modern-design body with a wide chrome trim.
(The shutter mechanism only works with a loaded film.)
