German 4-Place Medal Bar (Ordensspange) – Iron Cross 2nd Class, Hindenburg Cross, Civil Service & Hungarian Commemorative – J. Reimann Berlin
For auction is an exceptionally well-preserved original German 4-place medal bar. This bar belonged to a veteran with a long service history, spanning from World War I through the 1930s.
The bar is professionally mounted on a metal plate with dark wool backing and carries the highly desirable original tailor's label: "J. Reimann, Militär-Effekten, Berlin C.2, Kurstr. 33".
The bar includes the following medals (from left to right):
Iron Cross 2nd Class (1914): Prussian bravery award for WWI. Silver-plated frame with a magnetic iron core.
The Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 (Hindenburg Cross): Established in 1934 for frontline combatants. Marked with swords.
Civil Service Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen): 2nd Class for 25 years of service. (Note: Swastika on the medal is present but was covered in photos for auction compliance).
Hungarian World War Commemorative Medal: Awarded to German allies who served during WWI. Features the Hungarian coat of arms and swords.
