To achieve high performance in a compact space, a new zoom lens with an f/1.4 aperture and 13 elements in 11 groups was developed. Macro photography is possible in both wide-angle and telephoto modes.
The camera has been outfitted with a mechanical timer that allows a shooting time of 10 seconds and a start delayed by 10 seconds.
The power supply, powered by two AA batteries, is located above the camera, and the extendable grip allows folding the grip under the camera.
This new layout reduces the camera width to 39 mm.
Thanks to extensive use of plastic, the weight including the battery is reduced to 620 g, but it also features a high-quality black housing.
Shutter: Shutter angle 220 degrees.

Self-timer: Start the self-timer, then press the button to start taking photos for 10 seconds.

Shutter connection: Connection for remote release. Main switch: On, Off, and Single-frame three-position switch.
