Description from the seller

Large blue-and-white porcelain plate “Dragon Crossing the Wall” – Yongzheng period (1723–1735), Qing Dynasty

The dragon is depicted in dynamic motion with the characteristic “guoqiang long” (dragon crossing the wall) motif, a style highly appreciated in Qing production of the Yongzheng period.

The painting features a refined calligraphic stroke, with deep, shaded blues on a white, slightly ivory background. Broad, harmonious shape, with a strong decorative and collecting appeal.

Conditions:
Good overall condition for its age. Some small areas of glaze loss / superficial glaze flaking on the front decorative side (“kiln flakes” / glaze wear). No cracks, no hairline fractures, no restorations.

Dimensions:
• Diameter: 29 cm
• Height: 6 cm
