Rare aluminium ashtray designed by Roy Adzak for Atelier A, Paris, edited in a limited edition and signed with Adzak 75, dating from roughly 1969–1975, with dimensions 12.8 × 10.6 × 4 cm and a weight of 450 g.

Rare aluminium ashtray multiple edition by Atelier A of François Arnal, Paris, created by sculptor Roy Adzak in a limited series.
Adzak is associated with the “Art Corporel - Nouvelle Figuration” movement.
Grapes cluster edition - 12.8 x 10.6 cm, 4 cm, signed and dated “Adzak 75” engraved on the edge.
Matte polished aluminium, good overall condition, signs of use in keeping with the production period (1969 - 1975). The two motifs are recessed in a square casing, in keeping with Adzak’s formal signature for Atelier A (1968-1975).
Atelier A, founded by painter François Arnal, produced editions between 1968 and 1975 by major artists on the French and international scene: César, Arman, Tinguely, Niki de Saint Phalle, among others. These editions are among the most sought-after releases of the house.
Provenance: private French collection.
