- Inscriptions: Obverse: REPUBLIC OF GUATEMALA. Reverse: 1/4 REAL · five stars.
- Grade: MS64 (NGC).
Silver coin featuring on the obverse three volcanoes crowned by a radiant sun, emblematic motif of Guatemalan iconography symbolizing the territory and freedom, in a simple yet well-defined style. The reverse presents the facial value 1/4 Real in the center, surrounded by a vegetal wreath and accompanied at the bottom by five stars, alluding to the old Central American federation. The specimen shows an excellent state of preservation, with sharp reliefs, clean fields with a slight silvery tone and a soft patina, highlighting an attractive original shine and a well-centered strike typical of a quality minting.
