With a very realist aesthetic, this drawing is a study of nudity executed in dry pastel.
It depicts a naked woman standing, breasts facing forward and running her hands through her hair.
Verssan deliberately framed the female figure by cropping the face, leaving all the space to imagination and fantasies.
The light caresses the curves of this woman with a hint of erotism. The pastel treatment lends a voluptuous and soft quality to the work.

Verssan finds through pastel a way to make the body his own through plays of curves, hollows and fullness, shadows and light, by rubbing, blending and blowing the matter onto the paper.
The artist treats his subjects using monochromes while playing with the color of the support in warm gray tones, revealing both softness and delicacy but also strength and virility.
