Designer Kenneth J. Lane was commissioned by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to reproduce her genuine necklace from Van Cleef in the 1960s.
Jackie O had him make it for her and allowed him to add it to her collection.
In his book "Faking It", Kenneth Lane also shows a photo of Linda Evans wearing a similar necklace in the Dynasty series.
